make a donation

If you would like to make a donation towards our services in 2009 this how the money helps.
£10will buy a recovery kit that can be sent to someone to help them cope with their depression. This kit includes information on their illness, how to find help, including where to go in their area, advice on food exercise and sleep and some self-help steps towards getting better.
£15will pay for a depression awareness session for a teenager at school, which will give them good mental health skills for life and provide them with the chance to talk to someone if they have any worries or fears about their own or a family members mental health.
£20will pay for one hour of our helpline and will comfort and support up to four people who may be in crisis, by providing them with the opportunity to talk to someone who understands what they are experiencing and can really help them through it. This is often the only way some of our regular callers find they can cope, so your donation really will be making a difference to them and to thousands of others who have no one else to turn to for help with their depression.
