Margaret is our Community Fundraiser and works with fundraising teams particularly in the North West of the province. Margaret works closely alongside the Omagh AWARE Committee who have organised some extremely successful fundraising events to date.
I have worked in fundraising for over 20 years and most recently took on this role at AWARE, a fantastic charity that understands and supports people with depression and mental health issues.
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming and taking sunshine holidays. I have a Scottish terrier called Lulu who has 3 legs following a road traffic accident - whilst chasing a cat. I can be seen walking with Lulu in her doggy pram as she is now 11 years and not as mobile.
Bridie had been volunteering for AWARE as a support group facilitator for over two years from 2017. She felt passionate about the work that we do here and has since joined the fundraising team as the Corporate Relationship Officer in Derry/Londonderry.
