Walk or Run 5k in September for AWARE!
Are you looking for a fun way to exercise, lift your mood and feel good- whilst raising vital funds for mental health in Northern Ireland? We have got the perfect challenge for you!
Our usual Mood Walk events are suspended due to COVID-19, so we are inviting you to take on your own 5k Mood Walk this September to mark World Suicide Prevention Day!
How to take part in a Mood Walk for AWARE
You can choose to do your Mood Walk when and however you like, it’s that simple!
You can complete your 5k Mood Walk from the comfort of your own home, or in your local community. Check out the NI Direct website for information about parks and open spaces near you, click here.
You can complete your Mood Walk as an individual or you could round up your friends and family to complete a Mood Walk together!
When to take part in a Mood Walk for AWARE
We recommend taking part in an AWARE Mood Walk anytime throughout the month of September to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. Once you have completed your Mood Walk don't forget to make a donation to AWARE (suggested minimum donation: £5), click here to donate. When donating online, please quote "Mood Walk" in the description box.
By choosing to run, walk, or jog 5k for AWARE, you will help us continue to support those in Northern Ireland who are struggling with their mental health.
