Free Mood Matters Young People programme for schools and community groups in the Northern Trust area

Would your community group or school be interested in receiving a Mood Matters Young People programme FREE of charge? Mood Matters Young People programmes can be delivered to 14 – 18 year olds and gives them knowledge and skills which they can use to maintain good mental health and build resilience in order to better deal with problems and challenges.  Mood Matters Young People also features ‘Take 5 for emotional wellbeing’ which focuses on the five most evidenced-based ways of looking after our mental health i.e. connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and give. Participants take part in group activities and discussions which highlight ways that they can build ‘Take 5’ into their lives just by making some simple changes. Check out our web page which explains more about the Mood Matters Young People programme.

AWARE has funding to deliver this programme, at no cost, to schools and community groups working with young people in this age bracket in the Northern Trust. This programme must be delivered before 31 March 2019. If you would be interested in this programme, please contact Catherine McColgan in our Derry Office on 028 7126 0602 or email catherine@aware-ni.org
