Martin O’Neill to take part in an exclusive lunch and question and answer session for AWARE.
AWARE is the only mental health charity in Northern Ireland working exclusively for those with depression and bipolar disorder. The charity which is in its 20th anniversary year, is hosting the event in the Everglades Hotel on Thursday 10 March 2016 at 1pm.
Martin O’Neill has been managing the Republic of Ireland team since November 2014 but is also well known at international level when he captained the Northern Ireland team at the 1982 World Cup in Spain which reached the quarter-finals.
Those lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket will be treated to a delicious lunch at 1pm followed by a 1 hour question and answer session with Martin O’Neill. After that there will be a raffle for some top class prizes followed by the opportunity to get your photograph taken with the man himself with the event concluding at 4pm.
Organising the event is Martin O’Neill’s former team mate and Derry City footballing legend, Felix Healy. Felix said,
“AWARE does amazing work for people affected by depression across Northern Ireland, and I am delighted to be helping with this event.
“To have Martin O’Neill support AWARE is fantastic and I am delighted he accepted the invitation to host the lunch and Question and Answer session.”

“The event promises to be informative and energising for any football fan but will obviously be a real treat for any Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland football fans.
