Mindfulness Programme

AWARE Mindfulness Programme cultivates self-compassion, it helps you to relax and recharge and means that you are kinder to yourself and others. Frank Liddy (AWARE’s Mindfulness practitioner) will teach you tools to improve your focus, reduce your stress levels and increase your creativity. As you become aware of your emotions, you learn to become an observer of negative thought patterns. This reduces anxiety and helps cultivate a stress response rather than stress reactivity which in turn improves your sleep patterns, general wellbeing and will help stabilize your mood. Evidence of course hours can be provided for CPD or PDP purposes.

Mindfulness Programme (Part 2) 

This course is ‘part two’ of the Mindfulness Programme, which includes training in skills such as radical acceptance and 'the art of falling awake' .   Much of the time, we can live our lives on autopilot, everyday pressures can cause unconscious emotional and physiological reactions.  We therefore need continual practice to actively cultivate this skill of awareness so that we can experience the benefits of a more mindful way of living. Furthermore, Part 2 helps to embed that mindfulness practice can help build and strengthen our relationships, through helping us to understand and sense the interconnectedness of all beings. This course has also proved to be effective in deepening practice for those who have completed the full AWARE Mindfulness Programme.

NEW DATES: Mindfulness Training for Professionals (2 day Course) 

This condensed course in Mindfulness will benefit Professionals from any discipline. Mindfulness can be introduced into your work life to increase emotional resilience and job satisfaction. In two days, participants will learn about the scientific theory supporting Mindfulness and its benefits, the core techniques and will be equipped to use Mindfulness as a tool to improve focus, reduce stress, and increase creativity. . This training will be of particular benefit to healthcare professionals - Nurses, General Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers have gained great benefit on a personal and professional level from attending AWARE’s Mindfulness Programmes.  It is of note that those in the Education sector have also benefited much from AWARE’s Mindfulness Programme including University Lecturers, Secondary and Primary School Teachers. Evidence of course hours will be provided for CPD or PDP purposes.
