AWARE is delighted to welcome Antrim based window and door manufacturer, Camden, as a new corporate partner. Formed in 1983 by Patrick Lavery, a family-owned company, Camden has facilities located across 160 acres which are kept running by their strong workforce of close to 500.

We want to give them even more reasons to shout about their affiliation with us and would love an opportunity to give back to our community. That is part of why we have chosen to partner with AWARE NI.

We are mindful that there is a current mental health crisis, and we want to help combat it. We also wish to make the work environment at Camden as safe and healthy as possible for our staff, who we greatly appreciate. We feel that by working with AWARE we can start making the right steps towards a future where we can talk openly about our mental health and support each other.

We are aiming for an ambitious fundraising target of £10,000. This money will go towards funding AWARE’s fantastic mindfulness programmes, which we believe make a serious beneficial change to people living with mental ill-health. We hope to make a positive impact on mental health within our workforce and the broader population.”

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Camden over the next year to raise awareness and vital funds for mental health services here in Northern Ireland. Camden has already kick-started their fundraising by putting forward a team for the AWARE Dragon Boat Race taking place on the River Lagan in September. We are looking forward to hosting them for this event and the additional fundraising activities planned throughout the rest of the year.”
